Wireless internet doesn't work

Asked by Christopher Evans

I am using an Asus X200CA. I am loading BackTrack 5 r3 on a bootable usb drive. I am trying to get the wirless network adapter to work. The adapter is an Atheros Communicatin Inc. AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter. I want to connect to an ARRIS access point.

Here is the terminal info

This website is about official Canonical issues of Ubuntu. It is NOT about Backtrack. Suggest you ask here: http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forums/forum.php

Also Lucid is no longer supported on the desktop. There are newer releases of various linux distributions with the same goals as Backtrack and they are equally not supported in any of the ubuntu support channels.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Christopher Evans for more information if necessary.
