Not possible to create new proxy profile

Hello,
I would like to inform you that in Ubuntu 12.04LTS it is not possible to create proxy profiles, different from the previous version of Ubuntu. It is a very important features that the OS should have and I ask you to help me to solve this problem. I haven't found any solution asking in several forums.

No bugs reported. It is not possible to find any action in order to create a new profile (different from older ubuntu versions).
