Installing drivers on Ubuntu for ASUS P8H77-V

Asked by Erick Knight

I recently built a computer. I need to install drivers on my motherboard, an ASUS P8H77-V. The install disc has everything as .exe files and doesn't claim to have support for Linux of any sort. Complicating the issue is that I don't have the ethernet drivers installed so I can't connect that computer to the internet. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Bug 927782 is still a problem. See http://www.jfdesignnet.com/?p=2133 (comment #6) for a possible fix. Wireless should work, and you could get a supported NIC card or USB if you really need wired.

Can you help with this problem?
