I can't acess my wireless card, or turn on my wireless on? Also, stuck in airplace mode

So, everytime I use this disk of Ubuntu 11.04 , my wireless card get messed up. I type in lspci , and this is what I get:

Why are you using 11.04? Its about to be out of support; Next few days.

I suggest you create a disk for Precise (12.04.1) or wait for Quantal (due out October 18) and try again.

I would you the "run from CD" feature you can it out before installing. Check everything works before you install.

There is more hardware supported in newer releases: for example the wifi card in my laptop just works under 12,04,1 but 11,04 I had to find and install drivers for it separately.

If you still have problems from the live CD you can ask here before you install.
