Missing Wireless Firmware, Broadcom Wireless Driver Won't Activate (Installing Ubuntu)
Asked by
Barbie D
I have a MacBook and I am trying to install Ubuntu, but the wireless is disconnected because it is "missing firmware."
According to other threads, I should be able to activate the driver from Additional Drivers. (I am using Broadcom for wireless internet.) However, when I click Activate, the following message appears *Sorry, installation of this driver failed. Please have a look at the log file for details:* /var/log/jockey.log
How can I get my internet up and running in order to install Ubuntu?
