This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.

Hi ,

I can see a network controller there :

02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Atheros Communications Inc. Device [168c:0037] (rev 01)

But I cannot see any module loaded.

Try this

sudo modprobe ath9k

wait 10-15 secs and see if WiFi awakened .

IF NOT then give the results of

dmesg | grep -ie ath -ie wlan -ie net

Thanks

I suggest following this compat-wireless driver installation procedure:

http://www.jfdesignnet.com/?p=2162

Please make sure to reboot your PC after those changes.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Daniel Shaw for more information if necessary.
