setup wireless on a sony vaio PCG-FX301

Hi i brought a sony vaio PCG-FX301 I was just wondering how i could access wireless. If this has it built in or not, and if not what wireless dongles would be compatible with my device, so i can access my home router.

A quick look at the Sony web site suggests Wifi is not built in to this model. You should be able to connect to your router with a LAN cable or via a USB wifi dongle.

I am not going to suggest a particular model as there are many in existence and I have no personal experience. However, some work well and some do not.

I suggest you type the following in to Google (or your favorite search engine)

usb wifi dongle ubuntu

You will find loads of hits
