Wifi on Ubuntu 12.04 keeps asking for password + wlan0 Interface doesn't support scanning : Device or resource busy + eth0: no IPv6 routers present -> Wireless Network controller [0280]: Ralink corp. RT2600 802.11 MIMO [1814:0401] not working on ASUSTeK M2N-VM DVI in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

I installed Ubuntu 12.04 from a live CD on a new partition. While installing, it made a fine connection with wifi. At first, installation of Ubuntu didn't work, Compiz crashed over and over, but finally I have been able to install it correctly. But the problem is that wifi keeps asking for the password and seems unable to connect. In the system menu I can see my network, and using the network manager I can see that it has been able to connect sometimes, because it says: "last time used: 6 hours ago". But that must have been for seconds or so; in a while it starts asking for the password again.

I have a Ralink RT2600 PCI network card, and this is the output of the follwing command:
