No Network in 12.04

Asked by clombard

After installing updates...it seems the normally weak networking of Ubuntu 12.04 has all but disappeared.
Go->Network only shows "windows" network (which rarely works) but missing is now my "readyshare"
Network attached storage. This drive normally appears and I occassionally am able to use it.
Where is it today...?
thanks

can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C network; lsb_release -a; uname -a; sudo rfkill list; sudo dmidecode -t 1

You have given zero details, no makes and models....nothing.....

The command I gave will give a lot of useful detail.

Thanks
