ubuntu wireless bulls@#t need help

was using ubuntu oncielot ,wireless worked fine installed ultimate edition witch was told is just ubuntu with features.now intnernal wireless card doesnt work .tried using driver applet got error message "cant install driver" check jockey log .checked log am in over my head looks like jargon to me somthing about blacklisted.think its a matter of simple driver conflict but im such a newb to linux i need the "for dummies" help .actully its more like i need the "for completely newbed out idiot guide "please take pity on me and help!!!!!

Ultimate is not supported here, it has it's own support channels and forums. I suggest you post here:

NONE of the 'Ubuntu based' distributions are supported in the Ubuntu support channels. This includes (but is not limited to):
- Mint
- Ultmate
- Pinguy
- Gnewsense
- Fluxbuntu
- BackTrack

They have their own support forums and channels, not here

i understand that!!!! get error message from ultimate edition forums saying max questions blah blah blah and think this is just a simple driver issue and if someone were so inclined they could help me with a linux question weather i have pick the correct forum or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
