Ubuntu 12.04 Wireless connection keeps on cutting off every minute -- No problem with my Window 7 operating system and no problem with Ubuntu 11

Asked by James Trowbridge

I installed Ubuntu 12.04. The Wireless connection cuts off after about a minute, and then I have to re-enter the Key for the Wireless Network Authentication Required screen. I do not have a problem with my Windows 7 operating system on this same computer. And, I did not have the problem before I updated to Ubuntu 12.04.

After I re-enter the key I get the Wireless connection, but it always cuts off after about a minute. I do not know what to do to fix this.

Please also see question 19564 as my problem seems identical. Is this a bug?
