Ubuntu 12.04 doesn't detect Modem Huawei Vodafone k3765

Yesterday, I recently installed Ubuntu 12.04.
But, after I check my modem, Ubuntu does
not detect my modem. So, how do I fix this Problem

lsusb; lsb_release -a; uname -a

1. try to ping www.yahoo.com

2.if its not working then go for the step 3.

sudo apt-get install usb-modeswitch
