Right click on the network-manager icon, and select "connect to hidden network". Fill in your network name and key and you should connect. You may edit the connection anytime to select things like connect automatically, and in the future, you should see your network in the ones available. Of course, you could go to your router and turn on "broadcast essid" to "unhide" your network (that really does not offer much security anyway).

Can you help with this problem?
