can ping, can't browse ubuntu 10.04

Help i can ping network computer and also internet ip address but i can't browse internet using firefox. Help pls...!

try this
press CTRL+ALT+T
typr this command

mv ~/.mozilla/firefox ~/.mozilla/firefox_old

then start browser
