BELKIN not working in Ubuntu 10.10, Will it work on 11.10 ?

Asked by Sulthan Allaudeen

My belkin wireless adapter with f7d1101 didn't worked in my Ubuntu 10.10. And after the suggestion of Launchpad i am now downloading Ubuntu 11.10. My question is that will it work in 11.10 version or should i wait for Ubuntu to create the drivers for the Belkin wireless adapter F71101 ?

Can anyone help me ??

Thanks.

This is not a bug report but a question on hardware support.

You will need to obtain the USB ID of the device. Plug it in to a linux computer, then run in a terminal

lsusb

then we wild be able to conduct a more thorough search.
