I have slower internet connection with ubuntu . With windows 7 i have more than 9mbps when on ubuntu i have 7.5 maximum !!

I have slower Internet connection with C . With windows 7 i have more than 9mbps when on C i have 7.5 maximum !!
I'm connected with the router via WIFI , i have a PCI tplink wireless card .
Torrent download speed is even more lower !!!

It's really disappointing.

i think you are going with the connection speed. it varies greatly with different OS because of the difference in drivers used. It should not do much difference in the download speds because the actual download speed will be far different from the connection speed displayed. I use mobile GPRS connection that my Windows PC used to show as 114kbps connection speed. i used to get a makimum of 20 kbps download speed. as far as torrents are concerned, download speed depends on the number of seeders available for that particular torrent. just check with a torrent file having maximum number of seeders.
