Not able to connetc my MTS datacard on Ubuntu 11.10?

I have ZTE modem, whose model is AC2746 and the network connection is by MTS.

My data card was working well in Ubuntu 11.04. But when I installed Ubuntu 11.10 from then I am not able to connect it to my computer.

I configured my network connection according to my device. Then whenever I insert my Data card it is detected but Internet is not connected.

Please help me.

I have a modem (AC 2746) from Vodafone. It did not appear in the Ubuntu 11.10 desktop and also in the File system area. How to I install it. Please assist me.

u can try the micromax one & check whether it is detected or not, if undetected it means this device is not identified in ubuntu
