I am using ubuntu 11.10 . My problem is that my network manager can't connect to my adsl modem , when i click on network manager tab, under wired network it says device not managed. I have manually configure wired connection with ip address 192.168.1.137, netmask 255.255.255.0, gateway 192.168.1.1 and dns server. when first time i made the connection it was successed and work fine, after restart it failed and show the above message.
