ok run:

gksudo gedit /etc/resolv.conf

delete ALL text and add these 2 lines:

nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4

Save the new file, close gedit and try the web. Is it ok?

Yes, thats because the file is generated by network manager. If you use this guide it will make the change survive past a reboot

Editing the connection information on your wireless link will not affect any other wireless connections. To recap my understanding of your issue:
you experienced DNS problems with your assigned DNS from (your accesspoint? ISP?), solved then by manually using the Google DNS servers, then to make the Google DNS servers permanent, edited the connection to your wireless access point and changed the DHCP connection to "adresses only", and added the Google DNS servers to the DNS fields.
Did this not solve your problem? You should still have full functionality in network-manager in connecting to any other access point.
When you enter:
sudo iwlist scan
do you see many other access points on your channel? Switch channels if possible, shield your antenna if not to try and block out competing access points, etc.
