Context is helpful. (Continuing that thread/question instead of starting a new one would be even more helpful).

Use b43 firmware. This is just for the b43legacy driver.
 Aborting.
 dpkg: error processing firmware-b43legacy-installer (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1
 Errors were encountered while processing:
  firmware-b43legacy-installer
 E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

This also triggered a bug report!
Now the wireless is not even grayed out!
 It's gone!!

Not sure why this is flagged as "needs attention", but user switched to Fedora shortly after asking this:

"Too late I switched to FEDORA!
FEDORA works and doesn't have the problems that the new UBUNTU has...
TOO bad you went backwards with UBUNTU!!!"

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Michael Bowman for more information if necessary.
