Have you checked if there is any driver to be installed in Additional Drivers?

where isn't the wifi working? in ubuntu or in windoze?

if it's in ubuntu, right click on the wireless icon then click enable networking.

Sorry I could not reply earlier, no access to the net.

Wifi stopped in both environments.
Tried a few time to disable and enable in Windows and uninstalled Ubuntu still nothing.

Open Terminal and type these commands:
"sudo rfkill list all"
This will list the Wireless hardware in your computer.
If the Wifi shows not enabled or somthing like that then type:
"sudo rfkill unblock all"
Pls report if it works or not.

Is this to be done under Ubuntu? I have uninstalled Ubuntu and am trying to restore under Windows first.
Under Windows I do not know where to find terminal ?

You need to do this in ubuntu, not in Windows. In ubuntu press Alt+F2 and type "gnome-terminal" (quotes) and hit enter to open terminal. Then follow the above instructions.

Can you help with this problem?
