I installed ubuntu 11.4 a few days ago, but it cannot connect to any wireless routers. i had win 7 before, and it worked perfectly. but i had a problem and got a new HDD and installed ubuntu instead.

I believe this issue with AR2413 is due to a serious regression in the 2.6.38 kernel version in Ubuntu 11.04
I suggest booting from the Ubuntu 10.10 LiveCD and then retesting wireless. If it works during the 10.10 LiveCD session, then I recommend installing Ubuntu 10.10.
