First of all, I see the following lines in your Terminal output:

Ign cdrom://Ubuntu 11.04 _Natty Narwhal_ - Release i386 (20110427.1) natty InRelease
Ign cdrom://Ubuntu 11.04 _Natty Narwhal_ - Release i386 (20110427.1) natty/main

This is giving me the impression that you are running from a LiveUSB install instead of a full install of Ubuntu. You need to be running a fully installed version of Ubuntu BEFORE you can start modifying the wireless drivers.

If you are running a LiveUSB session, then any changes you make to the driver are lost after rebooting the PC.

I am pretty sure that your wireless adapter is experiencing the following Broadcom driver bug in Ubuntu 11.04:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/732677

I suggest installing bcmwl-kernel-source (5.60.48.36+bdcom-0ubuntu5) from maverick (Ubuntu 10.10) using gdebi

Solution is described here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bcmwl/+bug/732677/comments/23

Then reboot your PC and run the following commands to enable your wireless adapter:

rfkill unblock all
sudo rfkill unblock all

Then retest wireless using NetworkManager.

Can you help with this problem?
