EeePC 1001P wireless not working

Please could you help, I have an ASUS Eeepc 1001P but cannot get wireless working.

Have listed below diagnostics from terminal output

Hello,

Connect your netbook to a LAN cable and update Ubuntu. The wireless connection should then work.

Thanks for solution, wireless now working fine.

Had to tick some extra boxes in upgrade settings, to make sure it would download correct upgrade.

Default settings would not recognize any updates.
