Not able to Install LAN drivers

Dear sir,
I am using GA-G4IMT-S2P motherboard with Intel G41+ICH7 chipset and installed Ubuntu 9.10 desktop edition. I am not able to connect to LAN. Pls give me solution. Even I have inserted Realtek 8139 NIC card to one of the PCI slot. But I am not able to find drivers and even it is not detecting automatically.

first, connect pc to your router by means of a WIRED connection (4 pair cat5 cable with rj45 connectors) and reboot the pc.

do you have a web connection now ?

pls run in a terminal cmd as follows (v imp - the NIC card that you intend to use MUST be installed)

lspci -vnn

copy and paste the output here.
