I have bought a Conceptronic 150N Wireless USB Adapter.
I've plugged it in different USB plugs of mu PC, but the system doesn't recognize it.

You have to search for a linux driver for that device , if it exists.

Plug it in, open a terminal and type

lsusb

that should show you the device's USB ID. Use that in your google search.

After typing lsusb on the terminal, I found out that the device is this one:
ID 148f:3370 Ralink Technology, Corp.

I am trying to find a Linux driver, but unsuccessfully so far.

Connect to internet using a wire and install ndisgtk. That will let you install windows drivers in Ubuntu.

I installed ndiswrapper and with it the windows driver rt2870, but the PC doesn't detect the hardware yet.

The instructions on the link you provide end up being to complicated for me.
