BandLuxe_3.5G_HSPA_Adapter only works when mounted on ttyUSB0

Asked by Eli on 2011-03-24

I used BandLuxe broadband USB modem to access internet. It works quite well, but only when mounted on ttyUSB0 port. When mapped on other ports i.e. ttyUSB2, it fails to connect. I have two questions:
1) Is it a driver bug?
2) How can I force it to be mounted on the right port when connected? Today I just keep trying until it's mapped to ttyUSB0, which is quite frustrating.

Thanks, Eli.

Actually I'm using Kubuntu, so I'm using the KDE counterpart - KNetworkManager and the related Plasma widget.

Can you help with this problem?
