Turn network on and off

Asked by oddvar

I have an ASUS eee laptop. It have a blue network key (FN F2 to turn wireless network on or off)
The problem is this key combination give no visible respond. I had network problems and could not find the cause, until i pressed FN + F2. When I restarted my laptop after pressing the keys. the wireless network was functioning OK again.
It should really been a visible message telling me I switched the network on or off.

Maybe NotifyOSD isn't implemented yet, in case file a bug about this issue if it isn't listed there already.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NotifyOSD
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EeePC/Fixes

CLI:
LANG=C ubuntu-bug notify-osd
