Linksys AE1000 Wireless Adapter Driver install

Hola no se como instalar el driver desde la consola, tengo conexion por cable, pero cuando conecto el linksys Ae1000 no lo reconose, baje un driver (2011_0427_RT3572_Linux_STA_v2.5.0.0.DPO) lo pude instalar pero jamas me pude conectar queda todo el tiempo vuscando neñal y no se prende la luz azul del dispositivo, lo peor de todo es que lo desistale el driver no se como y ahora no lo puedo volcer a instalar si aguno me puede dar una mano la pc es un pentium 4 con 512ram

Linksys don't make wireless chips which you need to know. Can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C network; lsusb; echo; uname -a; lsb_release -a

ok i got it working but is there an issue with it connecting to wpa2 secured network?

Al final lo pude conectar, pero tarda mucho tiempo en poder conectarse al moden+router
