How to connect micromax usb modem in ubuntu 10.10

Can you reboot and login without the device attached and run:

lsusb

Can you then insert the device, wait 10 seconds then run:

dmesg | tail -n 15; lsusb

Copy all the output and paste here as an update.

Go http://www.sakis3g.org & download sakis3g, copy it to home folder, allow executing file as program, run it & use it.
