ndisgtk freeze problem ubuntu 10.10

Asked by Saranyan PV

I need help with ndisgtk in Ubuntu 10.10 or 10.04.1. I am trying to install drivers for TEW 424UB usb dongle. The light comes on but then ubuntu freezes instantly in both versions. ndiswrapper says it cannot find the file or directory when I give the .inf file to install. Is there a workaround? Thanks!!

Thanks, Mark. I followed the same procedure. Ndiswrapper -l shows both driver installed and device present. But the green light on the device does not light up. sudo modprobe ndiswrapper hangs my system! Please help. Thanks...
