I'm tired of trying to get broadcom wireless support to work. I need a recommendation for a laptop wifi card that wil work 'out of the box' with native ubuntu 10.04 support

Asked by gary nelson

When I do get my bc 4306 rev-3 card working at all my network periodically hangs and requires me to hard reboot my machine. I have installed, reinstalled and reinstalled again for too many times.

I need a recommendation for a wifi card compatible with a Dell latitude C840 will work 'out of the box' with native Ubuntu 10.04 support.

Can you help?

Thanks in advance.

Nelson

"I need a recommendation for a wifi card compatible with a Dell latitude C840 will work 'out of the box' with native Ubuntu 10.04 support." should read "I need a recommendation for a wifi card compatible with a Dell latitude C840 WHICH will work 'out of the box' with native Ubuntu 10.04 support."
