Wireless not working in Ubuntu 10.10RC - bug or not?

Asked by NakiMum

Just upgraded to Ubuntu 10.10 RC via Alt+ F2 'update-manager -d' command. Wireless doesn't work.
I personally don't use wireless in my house (yet), but I do pick up on a couple of secure sources around me and I also use wireless when I help out some friends with their windoze computers (and obviously) brag endlessly about how fantastic Ubuntu is *evil grin*.

I don't need a work around for this yet, just want to know if it's a bug. I don't want to report a bug unnecessarily. But will wait to do an update around Sunday or Monday after the final release,

After lots of Google-ing this morning and getting an update via Facebook, the following link as solved this problem for me.
