I Erased the icon of the network maneger

i erased the icon of the network maneger from the panel, now not even the lan connectio will go trougth, please help me!! i was wondering can if i get a cd of ubuntu version 10.4 can i reinstalled it an the problem will get fix, what should i do please answer.

     You should be able to just right-click the panel and add the network manager back to it. I think what you are referring to is called the "Network Monitor" in the 'Add to Panel' box.

Can you help with this problem?
