ubuntu says I am connected but wont load any pages.

My system tells me I am connected to the internet but acts like it isnt, i says there is 100% connectivity on my router but no web pages will load. I have loaded the drivers for my wireless card, when connected by ehernet it works just fine. Is not a dns problem and I am out of ideas, short of installing again which I dont know how to do yet, Im out of ideas.

Please can someone help me!

no it just doesnt connect

You said that there is no problem with DNS, but to ensure... ping to a domain works?

$ ping ubuntu.com
