cant you install bt conection manager

Hi im not great with computers so bear with me please the problem is I have a toshiba nb100 and recently got bt mobile internet when I put the dongle in it brings up conection manager file put dosent install it HELP it driving me nuts cheers david

Hi David, I helped my sister in law getting her T-Mobile connection working in Ubuntu 9.10. Basically I plugged in the USB key and then ejected it, this then made the item available in the network manager dialog box. network manager icon on toolbar --> Right click --> edit connections --> mobile broadband --> add, then selected the device from the list.
