How do I change my DNS configuration - 10.04?

Asked by tadiv

I seem to be getting intermittent DNS service and would like to change what DNS servers I'm using -- how do I make this change? This has only started happening since I installed 10.04...

Thanks,
Tom

Problem suppose to be with your ISP and if you are having static ip then naturally problem will be breaking of connectivity every 10-15 mins but dns has virtually no role to play in all this.... dns is just changing the name of the website to ip address in numerical form and servers are located at your ISP

open network manager and edit the configuration of the particular network adapter ie wired or wireless

This seems to be an issue with my router -- I swapped it out and am not having any of the same problems.
