Use apache on lan but not internet

I want to start out using apache on my lan but not have it available on the internet. I want to set up my web site and check it out before I make it public.

Hello,

     You can access via lan by starting your server and accessing the private IP of the server...

If you want to visit your own page , I think its http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1
