DNS search path in GNU net tools

Hi I am trying to set DNS search path in my ubuntu machine (6.06 LTS). I cant find any option to set DNS in net-tools. Please help me out.

    I don't know a good 'GUI' way to do this. You can do it in a text editor by running:

sudo vi /etc/resolv.conf

   ... and then add a line that looks like:

search <domain1> <domain2> <...etc.>
