wireless network very slow

I installed Ubuntu studio 9.10 64 bit in my Desktop, dual boot with windows xp. I have a wireless network using with Dlink DWA 110 usb adapter. Ubuntu shows the signal strength is above 60%, but the Browsing is very very slow. It works fine in widows XP. So please help to solve this problom....

IPv6 DNS is already disabled in my system. that we can do with network manager.

i think it is better to notify that "Ubuntu is not suitable for wireless Network" in home page of Ubuntu. So it help to avoid the installation for the wireless users.

I'm sorry you got that impression, in my experience Ubuntu is the most wireless friendly OS, there's no need for drivers for most of the cards, and the network manager does most of the job at setup time. Of course you are free to choose any operating system and have your own opinions about them.
