Possible to cache credentials?

Asked by George

I'm using multi-writer 3.28.0 on Ubuntu 18.04. When creating multiple sticks (6) with the wipe and verify options on, I get asked for credentials (sudo access) once prior to the wipe and write, but when it hits the verify stage I get asked for credentials for every single USB device I just wrote. I'm not certain whether this would be considered a bug or a feature request, but it is a minor annoyance. It would be nice to just be asked only once again for all devices for the verify stage, or better yet, only once on program launch like gparted.

It may be an oversight. I suggest you report a bug. Ideally the application being ran will require the elevated access then spawn other threads using the same access.

Can you help with this problem?
