Asked by poppy812

When start up will load fldigi, ham program,3 times, then have to close each of them. Not on startup list. Lost the top and bottom menubars, was working ok, Found answer to do AltF2 so have to do that every time start. Thought about delete xfce4 panel and reinstall but it is lot of programs under it.Think on session was showing prio 40 PID 1617. New at this so still trying to learn.

Since upgradeing to 9.1 the screensaver has not worked like in 9.04 Can select one but never comes up. Maybe one out of fice days it will go to a blank screen but not always.

This is probably because of compiz, right click on desktop -> change
desktop background -> visual effects -> none

Not sure what the compiz is,don't see it if can. When right click on desktop goes to desktop and background, menu, icons. The change desktop is the default ones and I have added a pic which using now but don't see any visual effects, only none is the background and tried that but still doesn't go to screensaver. Saw another answer about compiz, did a search and not showing up. Still have to do a Alt F2 to get menubars too. Thanks for any help.
