head phone is not working

Hi, I am new user of Linux. Currently I installed Kubuntu in my laptop model no VGN-FZ31M. But the head phone plug is not working in Linux. When I connect head phone jack on my laptop, sound come from spiker. When I type alsamixer only two panel master and pcm appears, there was nothing for Head phone or Micro phone.... Anybody can help me........waiting for your advice.....
