How to create link of gnome-volume-control 2.20.1

Dear friends,

I would like to put a link (shortcut) of the "gnome-volume-control 2.20.1" applet in my task bar, or on my desktop.

How can that be done?

P.S.: The self-contained HELP of that application does not seem to be up-to-date.

On a free area of your Desktop:
Mouse Right Click -> Create Launcher
Type: Application
Name: gnome-volume-control
Command: gnome-volume-control
Comment: what you want
