Bad sound (voices) on avi files, suddenly

Asked by CARLOS MORALES BERENGUER

I have installed ubuntu 11.04

I had no problems watching video on VLC (avi files, movies,...). Some days ago I wanted to watch a DVD. It was encrypted so I had to install the library to watch encrypted DVD's.

After that I was able to watch the DVD, but it was no possible to hear the voices. Normal sound was there, but it was not possible to hear the voices.

Moreover, now sound is bad on every avi file that I open, not only the DVD's one, also any other AVI file that I have watched succesfully before.

Can you help me?

Thanks

NO. MP3 and flash videos have the same problem. I forgot to tell that it happens with every player, not only with VLC.

Thanks for your help
