Can't find Pics and Media files

Asked by tdh09

Loaded Ubuntu 11.04 along side Window 7. On Ubuntu I can't see my pics and media files or documents I have saved on Win 7. I still can get to them on Win 7. I'm really happy with Ubuntu but I would like to be able to view my files

Ok looks fine, so you simply browse your windows disk with nautilus press F9 to see left bar with your available partitions and look into Document and Settings of your user or into another path where you are use to save them...

I guess i'm just too new to the ubuntu. I really like it but i'm not a computer programmer so this stuff is difficult. in the file manager when i click on a pic or video folder it says ubuntu one operations in this folder are disabled because there is no network connection. I just created an ubuntu one account and now the owner pc and ubuntu shows up under windows network but when i open the owner pc it prompts me for a password and i put in my password but it just keeps making me put it in over and over. I also am having trouble with my touch pad it doesn't scroll. This is a pain in the butt.

You don't need to be a programmer.
