All video playes fail to play CD.

No any player succeed to play videos from CDs having .dat format. I have VLC, REAL, MOVIE PLAYER, PRITHVI VIDEO PLAYER, GNOME MPLAYER, etc but no one works, all sucks!
any help???

You may need to rename the file as something.mpg (after copying it to the hard drive).
