Tell me one software to convert the High Res videos to mobile viewing format?

I have been trying to find a software to convert High resolution videos to mobile viewing format like 3gp,3g2,Mp4,Avi,....etc
And the one i was able to find was "iriverter".But it does not support from Flv format convertion that much.It would helpful
if you could suggest any better ones?

if you are comfortable with the commandline, ffmpeg is the go.

Otherwise you can use VLC to re-encode video.

update:I had posted the question longtime ago and had tried the ones given above even though both seems to work I still cannot get easiness that we get from free windows OS convertor programs like any video convertor.Can anybody suggest a new program entirely for converting video formats with GUI as I am not that good with command line?
