playing dvd's

when i put in a dvd into my hp laptop nothing happens it just says error...i have an HP Pavillion dv8333cl Entertainment Notebook PC

Will install the DVD decoder for you.

OK you get an error message. But what is that message exactly???

Have you installed the Medibuntu Repository and have you installed the package libdvdcss2?
