The OS is UBUNTU (pronounced OO-BOON-TOO), not Ubundu
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_(operating_system)

If you run:

sudo wget --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list && sudo apt-get --quiet update && sudo apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get --quiet update; sudo apt-get install gnome-mplayer vlc w32codecs ubuntu-restricted-extras libdvdread4; sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh; sudo apt-get upgrade

You will now be able to play nearly anything
